First thing is that each group should establish an HTML page for the project, and send me an e-mail with the URL. (This has to be done by Dec. 17, 1997). At the minimum, the page will include the members of the group, and their e-mail addresses.
You will need to complete a basic design of your protocols by Jan. 8, 1998. You will need to add an HTML page describing the basic design of you protocols, and how they interact with each other.
The implementation of the connection establishment and termination needs to be completed by February 5, 1998. This stage should include testing the implementation when messages get lost, duplicated or get out of order.
The implementation of your TCP should be completed by March 31, 1998.
The entire project including documentation, a demo, and all the comparison experiments and optimizations should be completed by April 20, 1998 (after Passover). Until the end of April, each group will schedule a meeting with me to present the project.
