The old city of Jaffa (Yaffo) has been an important port
town for thousands of years. Today this is one of the most attractive places to
tour in Tel Aviv. Our tour goes through thousands of years of history, mixture
of scents, narrow winding alleys, art galleries, and colorful
bazaars.
The tour is about two and a half
hours, Friday 16:00 – 18:30.
Please make sure that you bring with you comfortable
shoes, a camera, and an umbrella.
Please note that a bus will take us
to Jaffa directly from the conference venue.
Transportation to Maxim Hotel right
after the trip will be arranged for those who will need it.
Below you will find a list of Tel-Aviv hotels,
which will provide a reduced rate for the workshop participants. To make a
special rate reservation, please send by September 12 the
following information to Anna Zamansky or Ori Lahav:
(1)
name of hotel
(2)
dates of your stay in Tel-Aviv
(3)
number of people in the room
Unfortunately, the discounted rate is only available for single rooms.
Due to the holiday season, we will not be able
to process reservations made after September 12.
For your convenience, the list is divided into
the southern and northern part of Tel-Aviv beach, the southern part being
further away from the workshop venue, but closer to the city center. Note
that the conference venue is not within a walking distance from either of these
locations.
